Kiwis really do grow on trees!

My friend sent me a couple of pictures after reading my earlier blog entry with the 'How to Prepare Kiwi' cartoon (see 'Darwin and the brown fluffy things', 9 September 2005). I thought it only fair that her contribution should be included! (Merci beaucoup, "Alice"!) I particularly liked this one:


If kiwi birds really did grow on trees, perhaps they wouldn't be so endangered. Oh well. Incidentally, kiwi fruit grow on vines, not trees. Just thought I ought to be scientifically correct...
